Homes built to last.Crafted to live in.
A family-run building contractor working across the Garden Route — for homeowners who want their build done properly, from the first measurement to the final handover.
A family business, focused on doing each build properly.
Meijer Building Contractors has been building since 1991, and working across the Garden Route since 2017. The people you meet at the quote stage are the same people walking your site at handover — so the build stays considered, tightly managed, and finished to the standard our name has been associated with for over three decades.
Craftsmanship
If a join is off, we redo it. Not because you'd notice — because we would.
Honesty
If something's harder than the quote said, you'll hear about it the same day. Not at handover.
Client first
Your home, built with the care you'd give it yourself. Every decision yours, every detail considered.
Built to last
Built for the coast — salt air, summer sun, August winds. Same house, twenty years on.
A complete service, from first conversation to final walk-through.
Whether it's a new home, a renovation, or a property in need of careful restoration, we manage every stage of the build — and treat your budget with the same respect as our own.
Project management
End-to-end management of your build — planning, trades, schedule, budget.
Renovations & restorations
Bringing existing homes and buildings up to a contemporary standard.
